We get outdoors and shoot as much as possible, so we’ve built up a comprehensive library of stock imagery and vision available to license.

We are constantly monitoring wind, tides, and swell and always looking for those dreamy conditions to add fresh footage to our collection.

We’ve rounded up some of our most-requested footage into reels below, along with a few FAQs to provide you with everything you need to know to acquire our stock footage. All footage is at a minimum, 4K, with most footage in a RAW codec.

Stock footage FAQs

  • We price our footage per second.

    Our per-second license rates vary based on the following:

    • How the footage will be used (E.g. in a documentary, in a social media campaign)

    • The footage distribution and how big the designated audience is (E.g. Australian, worldwide, over 50,000 views)

    • The footage duration

  • We have a 20-second minimum order requirement for all purchases.

  • Yes, we will supply you with our standard stock footage license when you place your order.

    Grumpy Turtle’s license covers the use of the footage based on the required distribution method, territory and duration.

  • Grumpy Turtle does not allow changes for orders less than $3,000 AUD.

    We will consider small amendments for purchases above $3,000 AUD.

  • We only sell our stock according to the terms set out in our license agreement.

  • We love to support people and organizations that are doing good stuff.

    We offer special rates on a case-by-case basis for NGOs and not-for-profits. Please get in touch to discuss this with us further.

  • No, we only offer stock footage licensing on a per-project basis.

  • We will make every effort to get your vision to you as fast as possible.

    We are often out in the field shooting, and so for this reason we will need a minimum of 72 hours turnaround time to prepare and share your required vision.

  • If you are looking for something unique that is not in the library below, please flick us an email.

    We’ve got a LOT of footage and can prepare a new reel based on your requirements.

    These reel creations are subject to a one-off processing fee of $120 AUD.

  • Once you’ve decided what footage you are going to purchase, we will email you an invoice.

    You can either electronically transfer the funds to our Aussie bank account or pay with a credit card on the link we provide.

  • Available file types is listed on the video clips or in their description.

    All reels have a corrective LUT applied to them for viewing. We can supply graded clips in ProRes, or the original file format ungraded.
